Wupatki National Monument Seeks Public Feedback on Wilderness Study

The NPS seeks public input on the acreage and boundaries established by the wilderness eligibility determination to help refine those boundaries based on the degree to which the lands reflect wilderness character.

Release of the Finding of No Significant Impact for the Wupatki National Monument Backcountry Management Plan / Environmental Assessment

Public Comment Period Extended for Backcountry Management Plan

January 14, 2022

The National Park Service is extending the public comment period on the Draft Backcountry Management Plan and associated environmental assessment (EA) for Wupatki National Monument. The extension will now go through Sunday, January 30, 2022.
